Paddling On Long Lake

Long Lake is one of the largest and most popular lakes of the lakes region. The opportunities for great paddling run all up and down its 11 miles. It crosses 3 towns. Naples, Bridgton and Harrison Maine. For visitors to the area renting a camp on long lake is great. From scenic coves, to Cape Monday, and even some small islands you can find an abundance of interesting paddling. From many spots on the Naples end of the lake its possible paddle down to the town dock in Naples on the Causeway. Get lunch or an ice cream and paddle home.

As one of the larger lakes and being connected to Sebago Lake via Brandy Pond and the Songo River it gets its fair share of boat traffic. Still as you can see from the picture its never hard to find a time and a spot to drift and appreciate the serenity.

In addition to the town dock, there are multiple marinas, both on the Naples and Harrison ends of the lake.
